WEBS - America’s Yarn Store Taps into the Magic of Makers and UGC to Weave an Inspired Online Customer Community

WEBS, America’s Yarn Store, wanted to strengthen community engagement and help crafters find inspiration and peer advice online. Since 2011, WEBS has worked with PowerReviews to collect authentic customer content and support a more engaging, digital-first shopping experience.

PowerReviews implemented Ratings & Reviews, Image & Video, Social Curation, and Questions & Answers to surface user-generated content across the site. The results were strong: WEBS published 60 social posts in one year, collected over 30,000 posts, and achieved an 8.8% conversion rate for media/images—about double the conversion rate of shoppers not interacting with user-generated content.
