evo, a Seattle-based online retailer of outdoor gear and apparel, serves a passionate, on-the-go customer base and already displays user-generated content on more than 23,000 products. As 40–50% of evo’s customer emails began being opened on mobile devices, the company faced the challenge of improving the mobile experience and increasing the number of reviews submitted from mobile.

Working with PowerReviews, evo launched a fully responsive, mobile-friendly post-purchase email that was easy to implement with minimal effort from their team. The change produced a 23% year-over-year increase in reviews overall and a 204% increase in reviews written on mobile (with a 107% lift in the first month), while also strengthening evo’s brand presentation on smaller screens.
