City of Burlington, Ont., Streamlines Asset Investment Optimization with One Solution

The City of Burlington, Ontario, responsible for $2.1B+ in net assets and with roadways comprising roughly 80% of its replacement value, faced fragmented asset management across four systems that lacked complete lifecycle prediction and investment optimization. PowerPlan created a central asset inventory by integrating all source systems, configured a custom lifecycle model for Burlington, and installed the solution on City servers, enabling staff to predict optimal rehabilitation timing, identify corridor synergies, compute costs and quantify funding gaps.
