Case Study: Telia Eesti optimizes fleet sharing and advances CO2-free goals with Powerfleet Carsharing

A Powerfleet Case Study

Preview of the Telia Eesti Case Study

Managing Corporate Fleet through Carsharing

Telia Eesti, a leading Estonian IT and telecommunications company, sought to achieve its ambitious "Daring Goals 2030," which included a zero CO2 footprint and a circular economy model. A key part of this initiative involved modernizing its corporate fleet and internal carsharing program to be fully electric and more efficient. To meet this challenge, Telia Eesti partnered with vendor Powerfleet (referred to as Fleet Complete in the case study) to implement its Carsharing solution.

The solution provided by Powerfleet was a technological platform that streamlined the entire carsharing process. It integrated with Telia’s employee directory and offered a mobile app for booking vehicles, enabling keyless entry and an automated digital logbook to differentiate between business and private use. The results were highly successful; in a five-month period, the shared fleet of 10 vehicles garnered 968 bookings and was driven for 110,043 km. The system optimized fleet use, provided clear data for payroll and management, and was rated "really good" by employees, directly supporting Telia’s environmental and operational goals.
