Powerfleet Drives Holcim’s Mission for Safer Roads and a Greener Future

Holcim, a global leader in sustainable building solutions operating 8,950 trucks across 18 countries, needed to consolidate multi‑country telematics data, improve driver safety and ensure compliance with driving‑hours regulations. Powerfleet was engaged to provide consistent, real‑time fleet intelligence — deploying MiX 4000 Premium onboard computers alongside MiX Hours of Service and MiX Journey Management modules to standardize data collection and driver monitoring.

Powerfleet implemented the telematics suite across 8,950 trucks, integrated via API into Holcim’s systems and monitored centrally through a Technical Assistance Centre and regional control towers (covering ~2 billion km/year). The deployment delivered measurable impact: at‑fault fatal crashes fell by 83%, 75% of kilometres were driven by trained drivers, 56% of kilometres received regular in‑vehicle feedback, and the programme expanded with an additional 650 vehicles in Romania — helping Holcim win international recognition for road safety.
