Kuwait Cyber Crime Department, part of Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior, needed to strengthen national email and domain security as phishing, spoofing, and cybercrime incidents continued to rise. The department’s challenge was highlighted by a 2024 review showing widespread gaps in SPF, DMARC, MTA-STS, and DNSSEC adoption across 400 Kuwaiti domains, leaving many organizations vulnerable to impersonation attacks.
