Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital needed a partner to design, open and operate a fitness center that would be a flagship amenity on its expanded campus and succeed from ground‑breaking through day‑to‑day operations. Power Wellness was selected to provide end‑to‑end fitness center development and management services, including facility design, pre‑opening membership sales, and community marketing.
Power Wellness worked with architects to size a scalable, state‑of‑the‑art facility and handled leadership, recruiting and staffing, training, FF&E procurement, accounting, IT and communications, membership systems and marketing. The result: sustained positive cash flow and member satisfaction, over 6,000 members, utilization growth of 26% per year, average 13% annual revenue growth, and the center being voted the community’s “best” health club year after year under Power Wellness’s management.
