Origame Open Banking to effectively manage and optimize individuals’ subscriptions

Origame is a subscription management start-up that helps people centralize, audit, and optimize their recurring contracts. To remove the manual burden of entering subscriptions one by one, Origame turned to Powens and its Open Banking bank data aggregation solution so users could automatically synchronize their subscription contract data.

Powens’ Bank product was integrated into Origame’s app to identify subscription-related payments and give both users and the Origame team a clear view for audits and savings opportunities. The result was 35,000 registered users by July 2022, with 40% using bank synchronization, average savings of €600 per active user per year, and €650,000 in total savings since launch.
