Dougs uses Bank to simplify entrepreneurs’ accounting

Dougs.fr, an online accounting firm founded in 2015 to simplify life for entrepreneurs, needed a better way to serve small businesses with accounting that was too expensive, too slow, and too dependent on manual entry. The company wanted to give customers faster onboarding, more visibility into their finances, and a service adapted to their needs, using Powens’ banking aggregation technology and Bank Open Banking product.

With Powens, Dougs.fr automatically retrieves customer bank data in real time, synchronizes professional accounts, and pulls transactions and related documents directly into its platform to automate accounting and financial reporting. The result is a more transparent service that is 4 to 5 times cheaper than traditional solutions, with 14,000 customers in 2022, about 700 new monthly users on average, and 11,000 balance sheets processed annually, enabling accountants to handle around 250 balance sheets per year instead of 30 to 40.
