Quest Diagnostics - Customer Case Study

Quest Diagnostics needed to modernize its employee experience and digitally connect roughly 46,000 colleagues so teams could collaborate on documents, find subject-matter experts, and improve employee profiles. After evaluating options, Quest selected the Powell 365 digital workplace and partnered with Powell Software—a Microsoft Gold partner—to avoid a lengthy in-house build and deliver a ready-made, template-driven intranet.

Powell Software implemented Powell 365 integrated with SharePoint and Office 365, provided training, governance guidance and adoption support, and helped launch the ourQuest intranet (pilot June 2018, full release April 2019). The result: record numbers of logins, nearly 500 user-generated Community/Project/Region sites, faster search and discovery, increased collaboration and efficiency, and measurable reductions in email and rework as teams shifted to the new digital workplace.
