The Giving Keys, a pay-it-forward fashion brand that creates jobs for people transitioning out of homelessness, faced declining mobile engagement and had only experimented with SMS abandoned-cart messages. To drive holiday sales in Q4 2018 they partnered with Postscript and its SMS/text marketing platform to run a more comprehensive text program.
Using Postscript, The Giving Keys sent targeted holiday campaigns (new products, BOGO offers, discounts) plus shipping/delivery notifications, abandoned-cart reminders and local event messages, quickly opening a new revenue stream. The program delivered $0.67 earnings per message, a 7% click-through rate and a 13x ROI, and Postscript’s team helped craft and execute the strategy end-to-end.
