Rock City Lab Reactivates Subscribers with Postcards

Rock City Lab, an ecommerce marketing agency focused on retention for subscription brands, needed a better way to win back churned subscribers. Their email reactivation campaigns were underperforming despite solid open rates, leaving many lapsed customers unreached and unconverted. They turned to PostPilot to test direct mail as an alternative channel for subscriber reactivation.

Using PostPilot postcards integrated with Klaviyo, Rock City Lab sent personalized, segment-specific winback offers based on cancellation reasons and customer history. The results were strong: 971 postcards drove 57 reactivations for a 5.87% conversion rate, versus 0.59% for email, and a larger 1,856-piece mailing generated 108 reactivations. The agency also saw a campaign hit 28.02 ROAS, confirming that PostPilot delivered highly incremental, profitable results.
