Laird Superfood Supercharges Retention With Postcards

Laird Superfoods partnered with PostPilot to solve a retention challenge as digital channels became less effective. Rising ad costs, privacy changes, and email fatigue made it harder for the health and fitness brand to re-engage loyal customers, especially lapsed VIPs, so it looked for a better remarketing channel using postcards.

PostPilot helped Laird launch targeted, automated postcard campaigns with personalized offers, segmentation, and custom coupon codes. The initial VIP winback campaign mailed to 18,000 customers generated more than $110,000 in revenue and a 12.47x ROAS from tracked coupon sales alone, while a longer-lapsed segment mailed to over 6,000 customers produced more than $25,000 in sales and a 5x ROAS. Overall, Laird says the program drove more than $250,000 in incremental revenue, and it plans to scale further with PostPilot.
