HexClad, the cookware brand, wanted to test and scale a new retention and acquisition channel ahead of BFCM. Working with PostPilot, they initially used programmatic direct mail to validate audiences and performance, including campaigns for leads who hadn’t purchased yet and high-value customers they were struggling to reach through email and SMS.
PostPilot helped HexClad expand from seasonal sends into a full direct mail program, including MailMatch campaigns, VIP winback mailers, and seven evergreen automations like abandoned cart and winback flows. The results were strong: HexClad drove $1.7M over BFCM 2022, $2.9M over BFCM 2023, and about $3.2M in revenue over roughly four months at 12x+ ROAS, including a 2%+ conversion rate among lapsed VIPs.
