Grande Cosmetics Keeps VIPs Coming Back with Direct Mail

Grande Cosmetics, the beauty brand known for its GrandeLASH-MD serum and growing DTC business, needed a better way to re-engage customers who were getting lost in crowded inboxes and to reach VIPs at the right time for reorders. As paid social became less effective and email deliverability weakened, the team looked for a more reliable retention channel and turned to PostPilot’s direct mail postcards integrated with Shopify and Klaviyo.

Using PostPilot, Grande Cosmetics launched targeted postcard campaigns to lapsed customers and VIPs, timed around typical refill windows and featuring compelling offers like 20% off. The results were strong: across three initial winback campaigns, the brand generated $96,000 in sales from coupon codes alone, and one VIP postcard campaign sent to 16,457 recipients drove $276,600 in sales. Grande Cosmetics has since moved the program to an always-on direct mail strategy and is expanding into acquisition and cross-sell campaigns with PostPilot.
