MIDDAG avoids email snags with Postmark

MIDDAG, a Dutch internet agency co‑founded by Vic D’Elfant, faced serious email delivery challenges: early projects sent mail from localhost (one site had 40,000 messages stuck in the mailserver queue) and subsequent ESPs caused failures (about 10,000 Hotmail users missed emails for over a week). To handle transactional email for products like onzeleerling.nl, MIDDAG turned to Postmark and its Delivery/Inbound/Open Tracking services and API.

Postmark’s API immediately resolved the delivery issues — the weeks-long problems vanished once they switched. MIDDAG now uses Postmark for all projects (from 1 email/month up to 10,000/day), processes bounces and open tracking into their helpdesk and apps, and has regained reliable delivery and operational simplicity thanks to Postmark.
