Using Postman Pro from the beginning at AMC Theatres

AMC Theatres, a .NET-based API Platform and Ecommerce team of 12 developers that helps support roughly 200 million guests annually, needed a better way to manage and document hundreds of REST endpoints across partner and private APIs. To replace a mix of unconnected tools and manual processes, AMC began using Postman Pro from Postman in early 2016 to improve collaboration, sharing, and onboarding.

Postman Pro enabled AMC Theatres to standardize on Postman Collections for API documentation, share requests, environment templates and variables across teams, and add new endpoints to shared collections as services evolve. Using Postman, the team replaced disparate tooling, streamlined onboarding for developers and partners, and improved communication and coordination across its developers managing hundreds of endpoints and multiple environments.
