Tyk uses Postman for client engagement

Tyk, an open source API gateway and management platform used across healthcare, finance, tech and education, needed a way to clearly demonstrate API management features, onboard diverse workshop audiences, and troubleshoot client API problems quickly. To address these challenges, Tyk adopted Postman — using its collections and request/response visualizations to make demos, trainings, and support reproducible and easy to follow.

Tyk implemented predefined Postman collections for sales demos (showing rate limiting, quota management, policies, analytics and auth flows), required Postman in workshops to teach API concepts, and asked clients to send collections when reporting issues so engineers could reproduce and resolve them faster. By using Postman, Tyk delivered clearer demonstrations, more effective hands-on workshops, and quicker diagnosis and resolution of client problems, improving overall client engagement and technical support.
