VTEX, a Rio‑based cloud commerce platform used by more than 2,500 brands, needed a way to manage and share its extensive portfolio of REST APIs across internal teams, customers, and partners while fostering company‑wide collaboration and simplifying onboarding and support. To address that challenge, VTEX has relied on the Postman API Platform — including Postman Collections, Workspaces, API documentation, Newman, and the API Network — for more than six years.

Postman became VTEX’s central repository and collaboration layer, enabling engineers to share Collections with partners, accelerate onboarding for new hires, and replace a complex JMeter approach with automated tests run via Newman every two minutes. As a result, more than 600 VTEX employees use Postman daily, integration testing was set up in days, support and resolution timeframes were reduced, and teams gained a single source of truth for APIs — all delivered through Postman.
