Postman brings order to chaos at BetterCloud

BetterCloud, the first SaaS application management and security platform, struggled to organize API documentation and endpoints across teams, securely manage secrets, and make APIs accessible to non‑technical staff. To address these challenges, BetterCloud adopted Postman Pro from vendor Postman to centralize API workflows and improve collaboration.

Postman provided a Team Library, shared collections and environment templates, and pre‑request scripting for HMAC authentication, allowing teams to sync endpoints, store scoped secrets, and automate headers. As a result, Postman standardized documentation into a single source of truth, eliminated the need to search spreadsheets and disparate docs, and helped BetterCloud’s 90‑engineer development team work faster and communicate more efficiently while enabling QA, DevOps, and non‑technical users to explore and support APIs.
