Microsoft Education uses Postman Pro for integration testing

Microsoft Corporation’s Microsoft Education team needed a lightweight, reliable way to run integration tests for their K–12 and higher-education APIs (homework, rostering, notebooks) while they were still building out their engineering team. Instead of building a custom framework, they adopted Postman—using Postman Pro features—to get tests up and running quickly with minimal overhead.

Using Postman, the team created integration tests for all endpoints, leveraged environment variables and JavaScript test/pre-request scripts to implement flow control, looping, and retries, and used environment templates to run tests across test, staging, and production. They also bought Postman monitors to run the full test suite every two hours and receive failure alerts, and synced collections with GitHub via Postman Pro—saving development time, freeing resources, and giving the team confidence to ship changes.
