Healthwise, a Boise-based health content and technology organization, needed a better way to share and document the REST APIs that deliver clinical content to clients and patients. To support internal and external integration, the Healthwise API team adopted Postman Pro to distribute API collections, manage environment configurations, and lay the groundwork for automated acceptance testing.

Using Postman Pro, Healthwise consolidated collections into a single source of truth, shared them across teams, and maintained environments for local, integration, test, and production servers. Healthwise also exports Postman collections to OpenAPI to generate accurate documentation, speeding development and external integrations and keeping internal users up to date; the team plans to extend those same Postman collections into acceptance tests, simplifying developer workflows across its 50‑person engineering organization.
