SynapseFI, a U.S. fintech that helps banks and financial services firms embed banking products into their applications, needed a way to streamline API development, customer onboarding, and internal collaboration so customers could integrate faster without costly premature builds. To address that, SynapseFI adopted Postman as its central API development and testing tool (using features like collections, environments, test scripts, the Team Library, and the Run in Postman button) to support both customer-facing sandbox demos and internal learning.

Postman was rolled out across engineering, sales, and operations to provide a single workflow for building, sharing, and testing APIs—developers use Postman for integration test suites and shared collections, sales demos run directly in Postman sandboxes, and product onboarding is delivered via embedded Postman collections. The result: company-wide adoption (as SynapseFI reports “literally, every one of our employees has used Postman”), faster proof-of-concept demos that avoid the time and cost of premature integrations, and improved team collaboration across SynapseFI’s 20-engineer development organization.
