Eureka team counts on Postman Pro to stay in sync

Eureka is a non-profit research platform built by UCSF researchers with NIH support that helps teams launch mobile and web-based studies. The Eureka development team (9 developers and QA) works with mobile app and health device integration APIs and had been sharing API collections by uploading JSON files, which led to uncertainty about working from the correct version before adopting Postman Pro.

Postman addressed the issue by providing team collaboration and shared environment features in Postman Pro, which Eureka used for API design, documentation, QA testing, and as a reference for mobile developers and non-developers. As a result, Eureka stays in sync with the latest collections and shared credentials, streamlined testing of multi-endpoint workflows, and enabled analysts and coordinators to query participant data without involving developers—reducing version conflicts and developer handoffs.
