Cisco DevNet uses Postman to grow their developer community

Cisco DevNet, Cisco’s developer relations team, needed a way to teach network and systems engineers, partners, and customers how to adopt Cisco’s evolving REST APIs and automation capabilities. To meet that challenge they turned to Postman—using the Postman app as a central tool for hands-on education, online tutorials, webinars, and live demonstrations.

Postman helped Cisco DevNet publish reusable Postman Collections and Run in Postman buttons on their learning platform, enabling learners to import workflows, experiment with authentication and API flows, and see results without writing code. Adoption across the organization has been organic—supported by a 15-person developer evangelist team—and Postman’s tooling accelerated learning, simplified live demos and workshops, and contributed to growth of Cisco DevNet’s developer community.
