Autodesk, a global design software company, needed to improve how its Partner Integration team onboarded partners and managed API collaboration. With multiple tools, manual processes, and inconsistent versions of API collections shared across teams and by email, partners were confused and integration cycles were slow. Autodesk turned to Postman, specifically its API platform, to create a central source of truth for partner API work.

Using Postman’s Enterprise plan, public workspaces, and Partner Workspaces, Autodesk streamlined collaboration, automated key onboarding steps, and gave partners access to the latest API collections. The results were significant: time to first call dropped from under an hour to 3 minutes, partner API requests grew from 40 million per year to 60 million per month, and Autodesk increased its PWS APIs from 10 to 50 while onboarding over 200 global partners.
