Blåkläder, a workwear company, focuses on product longevity as the core of its sustainability strategy, challenging preconceived notions that recycled materials alone are the solution. Their challenge was to move beyond superficial measures and gain a data-driven, holistic understanding of their environmental impact, particularly in the manufacturing process. To achieve this, they partnered with vendor Position Green to implement their sustainability platform for data collection and analysis.

Position Green provided the toolset for Blåkläder to measure the outcomes of its initiatives with concrete data. This allowed them to quantify the significant impact of their solutions, such as saving 7.4 million liters of water and 82 tonnes of CO₂-equivalents annually by switching to a new fabric. The data from Position Green enables Blåkläder to make informed decisions, communicate their sustainability story factually, and work towards their measurable 1.5-degree climate target.
