Naitways, a Paris-based IT service provider with hosting and infrastructure business units, needed to deliver multi-tenant, instantly scalable web applications on Kubernetes while supporting stateful services like WordPress, Drupal, MySQL and Redis. The team’s main storage challenge was finding container storage that could deliver both high performance for databases and multi-writer shared volumes for CMSs, so Naitways evaluated and adopted Portworx Enterprise for cloud-native storage and data management.

Using Kubernetes and Docker with Portworx, Naitways implemented API-driven volume management, automated snapshots and CloudSnap backups, multi-writer volumes and built-in high availability to handle server and network failures. Portworx enabled faster time-to-market (saving roughly four to five months of development), increased revenue through simple tiered upgrades for extra storage and backups, and improved operational efficiency so customers get scalable websites without managing infrastructure.
