How Portworx Enabled MightWeb to Increase Revenue by Offering a Containeras-a-Service Platform

MightWeb (Relander Group Inc.) is a hosting provider that needed to offer instantly scalable containerized websites for stateful apps like WordPress, MySQL, Magento and Redis. Their challenge was finding persistent storage that delivered both high performance and multi-writer shared volumes plus HA and snapshot capabilities. To solve this they deployed the ComputeStacks container platform together with Portworx PX-Enterprise for cloud-native storage.

Using Portworx PX-Enterprise with ComputeStacks, MightWeb launched a container-as-a-service (about 100 beta users) that provides instant load‑balancing, replication and scaling for popular web apps. Portworx enabled automated failover and snapshots, higher density through thin provisioning (more sites per host), improved operational efficiency, and ultimately increased revenue and margins by making the container service competitive and easier to sell.
