Case Study: Cloud Provider achieves rapid Containers-as-a-Service delivery to end customers with Portworx

A Portworx Case Study

Preview of the Cloud Provider Case Study

How Cloud Provider Easily Offered Containers-as-a-Service to Their End Customers Thanks to Portworx

Cloud Provider, a Netherlands-based cloud hosting company serving around 800 customers, wanted to offer containers-as-a-service so customers could run stateful apps (WordPress, MySQL, MongoDB, Magento, WooCommerce) without managing infrastructure. Their key challenge was providing persistent storage that supports both high-performance databases and multi-writer shared volumes required for instant, large-scale container scaling—capabilities many storage options lacked. To solve this they adopted the ComputeStacks container platform and Portworx PX-Enterprise for cloud-native storage.

Portworx delivered multi-writer volumes, high availability, and built-in backups, enabling Cloud Provider to roll out a scalable, easy-to-use CaaS offering quickly. As a result, Cloud Provider shortened time-to-market, raised product quality, and can now reliably scale customers from single instances up to tens or hundreds of containers while supporting critical stateful workloads across its customer base.
