Namclear, a Namibian clearing house that processes domestic interbank transactions and settlements for the Bank of Namibia, faced a critical need to meet PCI‑DSS requirements and gain visibility into over 500 endpoints to identify devices missing AV updates, patches or proper firewall configurations. To solve this, Namclear evaluated and selected Portnox and its on‑premise, agentless NAC product Portnox CORE to address compliance, endpoint visibility and secure network access without disrupting operations.

Portnox CORE was deployed (via local partner Complete Enterprise Solutions) to provide automated patching and remediation, integration with existing user repositories and policy‑based access control, enabling Namclear to meet multiple PCI‑DSS controls such as firewall management, AV updates, unique user IDs and access monitoring. The result: Namclear gained clear visibility and control over devices and users across its 500+ endpoints, achieved compliance with several key PCI‑DSS requirements, experienced no operational outages during rollout, and now benefits from ongoing remediation and support from Portnox.
