Premitel, a South African internet service provider, faced a significant operational challenge. They used separate systems for their CRM (HubSpot), billing (PortaSwitch), and accounting (Xero), which required time-consuming manual data entry. This process was inefficient, non-scalable, and prone to human error, creating a risk of out-of-sync customer information and revenue leakage. Their challenge was to integrate these platforms without undertaking a costly and lengthy custom development project.

PortaOne implemented its PortaOne Workflows solution, powered by the Dell Boomi platform, to automate the synchronization between Premitel's systems. This low-code solution used pre-made connectors for HubSpot and Xero, eliminating the need for custom code. The result was the automatic creation of customer profiles in PortaBilling and Xero for every new deal signed in HubSpot. This eliminated redundant manual data entry and the associated risk of errors, freeing up staff time and providing Premitel with a scalable, flexible, and efficient integration.
