The customer, MMDSmart, an Israeli-based communications service provider, foresaw a demand for an affordable cloud call center solution for small to medium businesses but lacked a platform to offer it. They approached vendor PortaOne to discuss this need during a PortaSwitch demo.

PortaOne collaborated closely with MMDSmart to develop and launch Call Center Connect, a customizable cloud contact center solution built within PortaSwitch. This innovation, enhanced with PortaPhone integration, allowed MMDSmart to offer a full-featured platform that liberated small businesses to manage their own customer service. The solution became a major driver for PortaSwitch expansion and is now available for all PortaOne customers, with MMDSmart reporting fantastic feedback from its own clients.
