Lifeproof expands The Home Depot test to 250 stores with Porchlight

Lifeproof, a supplier for The Home Depot, faced the challenge of launching its private label carpet cushion during a high-stakes six-month test period. They needed to quickly adopt the brand, generate product demand, and support three distinct audiences: consumers, professional installers, and sales associates. They partnered with the vendor Porchlight for branding, marketing, and merchandising support.

Porchlight implemented a comprehensive solution that included developing key messaging, packaging, custom illustrations, videography, and visual merchandising assets like sample boards. A critical part of their strategy was producing educational videos to train sales associates and demonstrate the product's unique waterproof benefits. As a result of these efforts, the test was highly successful; The Home Depot expanded it from a select number of stores to over 250 locations and extended the initial six-month test period.
