Missguided, one of the UK’s largest online fast fashion retailers, wanted to respond to customer demand for a dedicated shopping app that offered more than its mobile site. Working with Poq and its app commerce platform, Missguided set out to create a fully branded, scalable iOS app with in-house content management and functionality tailored to its multichannel strategy.

Poq delivered a fully transactional app with native checkout, Apple Pay, Magento product integration, account features, and app-only “Swipe-to-Hype” functionality. The results were strong: Missguided’s app revenue run-rate grew from zero to £30m within four months of launch, and the app achieved a 30% higher conversion rate than the mobile website.
