Meli Melo, a luxury brand, wanted to expand internationally and boost performance in new markets like Taiwan and Hong Kong. The challenge was to drive more effective mobile commerce results overseas, especially as app performance was outperforming mobile web and desktop across key KPIs. Poq helped Meli Melo run targeted Facebook app download campaigns for users in Taiwan and Hong Kong, with 11 campaigns supported by a modest share of the brand’s monthly Facebook budget. The result was a 500% increase in app installs and audience growth, a 3% average click-through rate, and a cost per install that was recovered more than 10 times over, at just 1.3% of Meli Melo’s average digital cost per acquisition.
