Reducing Burnout at Nuance with an Integrated Approach to Employee Comms

Nuance, a global technology company with 10,000+ employees, saw employee burnout rise during the pandemic and wanted a better way to raise awareness around physical and mental wellness. The Communications and Benefits teams worked together to address burnout before it became a broader problem, and they chose Poppulo to support their employee communications efforts.

Using the Poppulo platform, Nuance built an integrated wellness campaign across email, newsletters, the intranet, and Microsoft Teams, with targeted and personalized messages for different employee groups. Since implementing Poppulo in 2019, Nuance has seen an average open rate of 79%, and one two-week wellness campaign drew more than 700 employees, up from fewer than 200 in earlier programs.
