VWFS (Volkswagen Financial Services UK Ltd) sought to increase representation of diverse faces and voices across its 1,200‑person UK operation after a listening forum revealed powerful employee experiences. VWFS partnered with Poppulo, using Poppulo’s omnichannel internal communications platform to launch a DE&I program focused on listening, educating and driving cultural change so employees could be their authentic selves.
Using Poppulo, VWFS ran off‑site listening sessions, "Creative Coffee" board dialogues, a 100% Me video series, a weekly Poppulo newsletter and interactive campaigns (custom banners, drag‑and‑drop components), achieving about an 80% newsletter open rate and an 81% open rate on the National Superhero Day campaign. Poppulo’s platform helped create DE&I advocates across every department, boosted engagement, attracted applicants who cited the videos, and delivered measurable progress toward VWFS’s inclusion goals.
