E.ON, one of the UK’s leading power and gas companies with nearly 10,000 employees, struggled to run internal events using Microsoft Outlook: invites didn’t stand out, attendance tracking was time‑consuming, and special requirements (dietary or travel) were hard to capture. To address these challenges E.ON implemented Poppulo’s event solution, Poppulo Events, to modernize its internal event management.
Poppulo provided a centralised, end‑to‑end event workflow with fully branded invites (including images and videos), easy registration and attendance tracking, and fields to capture special requirements and send tailored follow‑ups. As a result, E.ON now manages events from one place, reports a tenfold increase in team productivity, improved engagement and attendance, and continues to benefit from Poppulo’s responsive support and product improvements.
