The University of Vermont, a public land-grant research university in Burlington, Vermont, began using Poppulo digital signage in 2013 to improve the student experience in its student center. As the signage network expanded across departments and locations, the university faced governance, content management, and adoption challenges in a decentralized environment.

In 2023, The University of Vermont moved to Poppulo’s cloud-based digital signage platform and worked with Poppulo’s Customer Success team on governance, templates, workflows, integrations, and best practices. The university said the support helped streamline content management, make onboarding easier, and enable departments to manage their own screens while maintaining centralized control, with new uses including emergency messaging, news feeds, and personalized campus content.
