Digital Signage is a Key Component at the University of Calgary

The University of Calgary used digital signage across its Taylor Family Digital Library, but multiple legacy software platforms made it difficult to manage the network and optimize each display. The university needed a single signage platform with wayfinding, integrations, real-time space and computer availability, and support for modular video wall configurations.

In 2015, the University of Calgary transitioned to Poppulo and consolidated most of its digital signage applications under one content management platform. Poppulo helped the library create an interactive directory with bus schedules, computer availability, an event calendar, and wayfinding, while supporting 35 kiosks, five media walls, and 84 interactive meeting rooms.
