Digital Signage Drives the Employee and Visitor Experience at Daimler Trucks North America’s Headquarters

Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), one of the world’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturers, wanted its new 268,000 square foot headquarters in Portland, Oregon to represent its commitment to employees, visitors, and the community. The company needed a single visual communications platform that could deliver two different experiences while also helping attract top talent and make the large building easier to navigate.

Poppulo provided the digital signage and Visual Communications platform for the headquarters. The solution includes a 59-screen, 110-foot lobby video wall, a second large video wall by the elevators, interactive employee kiosks on upper floors, and digital menu screens in the cafeteria. DTNA said the platform improved flexibility, scalability, and usability, and it is now scoping Visual Communications into other Portland campus projects while other Daimler Group subsidiaries look to the headquarters as an example.
