A Poppulo Case Study
Motor Vehicle Network, founded in 1991, wanted to improve the DMV visitor experience by creating a digital communications network that could span multiple states and engage thousands of customers every day. To support that goal, it needed a scalable digital signage platform with robust scheduling for state, local, and advertising content, along with built-in reporting to prove ad impressions and efficacy.
In 2007, Motor Vehicle Network selected Poppulo, then Four Winds Interactive, as its exclusive digital signage software provider, starting with a pilot of 50 licenses. Using Poppulo’s platform, MVN was able to customize content by state, region, and individual office, while also delivering sponsor content, news, live traffic, weather, automotive tips, directions, emergency announcements, and public service information in multiple languages.
