IQNavigator is a Denver- and London-based provider of cloud software for managing contingent workforces, serving global clients like Home Depot, Dell and Nike. Facing a complete rewrite of its core architecture and a 100-developer team at risk of burnout, CTO Sherri Hammons needed to standardize product offerings, reduce development defects and boost team engagement amid intense deadlines.

Hammons ran POPin crowd‑solving sessions to align development and QA, gather frontline ideas and take the team’s pulse; a single session produced 166 activities, 13 ideas, 130 votes and 23 comments. Outcomes included upgraded source‑code controls that removed bottlenecks and sped delivery, adoption of two‑week agile scrums, simple workspace improvements (whiteboards) that raised productivity, and nearly 100% participation from selfie video invites—together reducing defects and improving employee buy‑in.
