Case Study: CoreLogic aligns dispersed teams and boosts engagement with POPin

A POPin Case Study

Preview of the CoreLogic Case Study

CoreLogic - Customer Case Study

CoreLogic, a $1.6B data-analytics company, had grown rapidly through acquisitions and ended up with siloed IT teams and poor cross-office communication. To align hundreds of dispersed app developers and address cultural differences, Robin Gordon (then SVP of Solutions Management) piloted the PoPin crowdsourcing platform to surface and prioritize employee ideas.

Deployed in October 2014, the two-day PoPin sessions generated 170 ideas, 4,095 engagement points, 3,605 votes and 320 comments, yielding actionable suggestions for better information-sharing, morale and operations. The program improved organizational health, helped roll out initiatives more effectively, and—when Gordon became Chief Data Officer—was used again with 400 direct reports to guide a reorganization, training improvements and increased staff engagement, with plans to expand PoPin across other business units.
