A POPin Case Study
The customer, Clayton State University, faced the challenge of low student engagement in online graduate classes, which prevented the instructor from creating tailored lesson plans. Joshua Kitchens, the Director of Archival Studies, had been using traditional survey tools without success. He turned to the vendor POPin to find a more effective solution.
POPin provided a platform to crowdsource student questions and discussion topics prior to class sessions. This allowed the instructor to build highly relevant lesson plans and facilitate meaningful discussions. Using POPin resulted in a significant increase in student participation and engagement. The solution gave the instructor higher confidence that his students were fully prepared for their careers upon graduation.
