A POPin Case Study
Clayton State University Assistant Professor Dr. Christopher Ritter faced the challenge of engaging both in-person and online students to ensure a high quality learning experience using traditional discussion forums. To address this, he turned to the vendor POPin and leveraged its anonymous crowdsourcing capabilities.
The solution involved using POPin to seek real-time course improvements and as part of homework assignments to drive classroom discussion. As a result, POPin helped achieve increased student participation and engagement, with every student in the class participating in a critical thinking activity. This led to a more positive classroom experience and real-time course improvements.
