Miba, a leading Austrian technology group serving the international motor vehicle industry, restructured its purchasing organization and needed a more standardized, efficient way to manage direct and indirect procurement. To support its new purchasing strategy and reduce maverick buying, Miba selected pool4tool’s eSolutions, including an SRM and Sourcing Portal, as well as eProcurement for MRO parts.

pool4tool implemented a fully integrated, workflow-based procurement platform connected to Miba’s SAP ERP system. The solution centralized supplier registration, evaluation, development, RFQs, and procure-to-pay processes, improving transparency, communication speed, and control over purchasing. As a result, Miba achieved standardized end-to-end processes, complete ERP integration, better supplier risk and performance analysis, and lower processing costs while keeping all procurement routed through Purchasing.
