The U.S.-Based Fortune 600 Manufacturing Company is a Midwestern, $4B global supplier of workplace apparel with more than 400 facilities and 30,000 employees worldwide. Faced with rapid BYOD and enterprise mobility proposals led by Marketing and Sales, the company engaged Pomeroy to assess mobility readiness — including MDM/EMM selection, use-case validation, network and data security, and organizational alignment — before approving a major mobility rollout.

Pomeroy ran a two-week Enterprise Mobility Readiness Assessment and recommended a Quick Wins/POC strategy (targeted within two months), remediation of network/data/device security gaps, evaluation of MDM alternatives, and the creation of IT leadership and a Mobility Center of Excellence.
