AmeriCorps VISTA, supporting the City of Hartford’s North Hartford Promise Zone, needed a way to build a detailed demographic profile of the area to inform decision-making and track progress. Data and Research VISTA Megan Schneider faced the challenge of gathering information across 10 census tracts, which would have been time-consuming if done separately.
